When Nino Kiltava arrived in Madrid with the idea of opening a Georgian restaurant, almost no one knew the cuisine. That unfamiliar tradition became an opportunity: Nunuka was born as a warm, family-style bistro on Calle Libertad in Chueca. Its cuisine moves between home cooking and cosmopolitan influences, between memories of Nino’s grandmother and a contemporary view of Georgia, winning over Madrid from day one.
The group was built from Nunuka. K’era is the more informal, all-day version: the oven at its heart, dough as its language and khachapuri as its emblem. A project developed from concept to implementation, with a clear objective: to establish the group as a reference for Georgian restaurants in Spain.
